Internships at Csarda Haz
Internships at Csarda Haz are for both men and women. We are looking for young men and women who will live and work on the farm for a three month period. Interns must be at least 21 years old and have a friendly personality with a positive attitude. Interns receive a small stipend. Food and lodging are provided. Accommodations include a full kitchen, bath, and shared sleeping quarters. Men and women share separate rooms and bathroom facilities.
Interns work during the weekdays and have the weekends off to travel and explore Northern California. San Francisco is very close, only about 80 miles away.

Interns should have some farm, social and practical skills such as:
Be able to understand, speak and read English.
Experience with hand and power tools
Gardening and horticulture
Experience with tractors and farm implements
Farm animal experience - feeding and care - milking cows, horses, chickens, pigs, etc.
Mechanical skills, welding, woodworking, carpentry
Cooking and baking - an interest in good food make from farm fresh produce.
Housekeeping and cleaning
Artistic and musical skills such as painting, singing or playing a musical instrument
Designing and sewing clothing
Organizational skills
Computer skills
Bookkeeping and Accounting
Secretary and writing skills
Drive a car and have a valid drivers license.
Interns must pay for their own travel expenses to the Csarda Haz and back home. Interns must have their own medical and health insurance.
